The PRS Modern Eagle RP Bass is a PRS humbucker for the bridge position, designed by Ralph Perucci, a longtime employee of PRS. The original PRS Modern Eagle RP Bass humbucker has a Brushed Nickel-Gold Hybrid finish and has coil-split capability. The pickup is very close to a PRS McCarty pickup. Later the pickups were available in other colors.
