The Yamaha RGX Standard is a super strat bodied guitar made in Japan featuring a mahogany body and a carved maple top. The guitar has a carved body which Yamaha called the "Modern Chrystal Cut" which along with the extra deep scooped cutaways give this guitar sleek elegant contours. Unlike the Yamaha RGX Custom it doesn't feature neck-through construction. The bolt-on neck is bound with an ebony fingerboard.
