The Yamaha RGX 821D is a Made-in-Taiwan superstrat manufactured between 1994-1996. It features an alder body with pickups mounted directly on the body in an HSH configuration. The body has a veneer (maple/sycamore) top AND back. The maple neck on the Yamaha RGX 821D has the 5th highest frets (20th-24th) scalloped.
