The Washburn Mercury MG740 was an import Washburn guitar made in Korea. It was part of the Mercury (II) series and only produced for one year (1994). It featured a bookmatched flamed sycamore top, HSH pickup configuration and a maple fingerboard. It also had the Washburn 800S Floyd Rose vibrato system which actually is the Takeuchi TRS-Pro. According to the washburn archive it came in Transparent Black, Transparent Blue and Cherry Sunburst and chrome hardware. I found pictures of a honey colored guitar with gold hardware though.
