The Washburn Mercury MG52 is part of the Washburn Mercury I series produced between 1993 and 1996 under Grover Jackson. This particular model was made in Korea. And only produced for one year(1993). It has a hardwood body and a white pickguard. The thing that makes this Washburn Mercury standout is the bridge, which is according to the catalog is "a compensationg bridge with a stop tail piece". Other features are 15:1 die-cast tuners, chrome hardware, a tapered heel, full access cutaway and an HH pickup configruation. It resembles the Mercury MG72 because of the HH configuration but lacks the Floyd Rose.
