The Washburn Mercury MG112 is a rather rare guitar. There seem to be different versions available too. According to the Washburn archives they were produced in the USA in the years 1993 and 1994. The 1993 version had an alder back, a quilted maple top and a Tune-o-matic bridge. The 1994 version had a Floyd Rose tremolo and a mahogany body. There are also sources claiming a swamp ash body. The HH pickup configuration featured a Seymour Duncan 59 humbucker in the neck position and a Duncan Custom Custom (1993) or a Duncan JB (1994) in the bridge position. The 1993 colors were Vintage Sunburst and transparent Red. The 1994 colours were Black, Vintage Sunburst, Transparent Blue and Transparent purple.
