The Ibanez RT 250 is a vintage style guitar with an Ibanez U-shaped Viper neck and an RG body shape. Instead of a double locking tremolo on the RG series the RT series features a standard 2 pivots tremolo with kinfe-edged pivot points. It also features Magnum locking tuners, HSH pickup configuration.
The RT250 was only available for the European market. A similar model with an other set of pickups was issued in the USA as the Ibanez RT450. A similar model with an SSH pickup configuration was issued as the RT240.
