The Ibanez R334 is part of the Ibanez R(adius) series and was introduced in 1992. The model was only manufactured for 2 years. What sets this guitar apart from the other Radius models is that it has a more traditional Stratocaster look and features. The guitar has an ash body instead of an Alder body like the Ibanez R355GF and R354GF and doesn't have a Gravure top. It has a white pickguard and a standard tremolo. The neck is a 25.5 inch scale, 22 frets Viper neck. The HSS pickup configuration features two Ibanez RTS single coils and the Ibanez V6 Humbucker. Unlike the R334, R355GF, R354GF this guitar doesn't have an AANJ (All Access Neck Joint).
