The Ibanez AT100CL is a signature model of guitarist Andy Timmons. It is a recreation of his first signature model, the Ibanez AT100 SB, produced in limited quantities in 1999. The Ibanez AT100CL is a regular production model. The guitar uses the RG body shape but like the Ibanez RT series it leans toward a Fender Stratocaster because of the alder body, 22 frets and a classic synchronized tremolo. The bolt-on maple AT prestige neck features Ibanez' All Acces Neck Joint. The maple fretboard boasts a unique digitized Andy Timmons Prestige profile which emulates vintage necks rounded by years of dedicated playing. The Wilkinson Gotoh VSVG bridge is mounted with only 4 screws. The pickups are all humbucking pickups, but two of them are single coil sized. Unlike the original Ibanez AT100 SB, this guitar doesn't feature the Sperzel locking tuners it has Gotoh HAPM tuners instead.
