The Ibanez AT100-SB is the first signature model of guitarist Andy Timmons introduced in 1999. Ibanez issued 175 pieces of this Andy Timmons series guitars worldwide. The guitar uses the RG body shape but like the Ibanez RT series, it leans toward a Fender Stratocaster because of the alder body, 22 frets and a classic synchronized tremolo. The bolt-on maple AT prestige neck features Ibanez' All Acces Neck Joint. The maple fretboard boasts a unique digitized Andy Timmons Prestige profile which emulates vintage necks rounded by years of dedicated playing. The Wilkinson Gotoh VSVG bridge is mounted with only 4 screws. The pickups are all humbucking pickups, but two of them are single coil sized.
