The EVH Eddie Van Halen Frankenstein Replica Tribute is an exact replica of Van Halen's first self made Frankenstein/Frankenstrat guitar. Together with Chip Ellis of the Fender Custom Shop, Eddie worked on a limited run (300 guitars) of faithfully reproduced Frankenstein replicas. The EVH Frankenstein Replica features an ash body, bolt-on maple neck, Schaller tuners, an original Floyd Rose tremolo and a custom wound Seymour Duncan EVH humbucker. The neck is an unvarnished, wide/thin shape, cosmetically worn to feel like the original.The guitar has all the details that were also found on the original Frankenstein guitar.
