The EVH '79 Bumblebee is a tribute model to celebrate the 40th anniversary of five-time platinum-selling 179 album Van Halen II. There were 50 pieces made of the EVH '79 Bumblebee and each one is hand-signed by Eddie Van Halen. The guitar features a period-correct Ash body (hand-painted black and yellow with a lacquer finish), an authentic reproduction of the Boogie Bodies bolt-on 2 piece Birdseye Maple neck with a Birdseye Maple 12" radius fingerboard with katalox dots and black side dots.
