Description:

The ESP Mirage Standard is part of the first series of ESP mirage guitars that appeared in 1984. The first ESP Mirage guitars had a strat like body. The ESP Mirage Standard featured just one "ESP Custom Humbucker" and a maple fretboard with matching colors to the body and headstock. It has "The Mirage" written on the headstock. The headstock on this guitar is called the "New York" which will be featured in models to come after this one. Other features are:

  • Matching headstock
  • Bone nut
  • ESP Flicker II Bridge System
  • Transparent Cherry Red or Transparent Blue colored body, neck, fretboard and headstock

The ESP Mirage Special is the same guitar but has a rosewood/ebony fretboard.
