The ESP Mirage Deluxe is part of the first series of ESP mirage guitars that appeared in 1984. The first ESP Mirage guitars had a strat like body. The ESP Mirage Deluxe featured an "ESP Custom Humbucker" in the bridge position and the ESP LH-200 humbucker in the neck position. The fretboard is maple and has matching color to the body, neck and headstock. It has "The Mirage" written on the headstock. The headstock on this guitar is called the "New York" which will be featured in models to come after this one. Other features are:
