Description:

The ESP M-II w/EMG's (as the 2005 catalog says) is the same guitar as the 1998 ESP M-II but with EMG's instead of the ESP LH-200 humbuckers. Both humbuckers are EMG 81's. As of the 2005 catalog, the ESP M-II w/EMG's usually has a rosewood fretboard, but the Japanese Catalog also has a Maple version. They distinguish between the two with these labels ESP M-II/R EMG and ESP M-II/M EMG. The R and the M stand for Rosewood or Maple and the EMG stands for obviously EMG's. Other features are:

  • Gotoh tuners
  • 24 Extra Jumbo frets
  • Black Hardware or Black Nickel Hardware (as of 2008)

As of 2008 there was also a Snow White version of this guitar.
