Description:

The ESP M-II is a super strat featuring 24 frets, HH pickup configuration and an original Floyd Rose tremolo. The 1998 version of the ESP M-II differed from the previous ESP M-II. Where it's predecessor featured a slanted single coil sized humbucker in the neck position, the ESP M-II that was featured in the 1998 ESP catalog featured a guitar with two straight ESP LH-200 humbuckers. Besides the dot inlays, the twelfth position has a logo block inlay. Other features are:

  • Quartersawn maple neck
  • Optional Maple or Rosewood fretboard
  • Extra Jumbo frets
  • Reversed headstock

The ESP M-II came with this configuration until the 2004 catalog, where it was replaced with the same guitar with Seymour Duncans or EMG's (in the 2005 catalog)
