The Charvel Model 8 is a very rare Import Charvel super strat. It resembles the Charvel Spectrum differing only in the headstock used, which is a reverse headstock. It features an SSS pickup configuration (actually an HHH configuration) with three Jackson J-200 dual coil pickups. It is said that it holds many of the details (neck profile, fingerboard radius etc) of Jeff Beck's Jackson Soloist. It also features Jackson's active electronics system (JE-1200)

The successor of this guitar is the Charvel Spectrum which has another Tremolo (with recessed route), the toothpaste Charvel logo, a sculpted heel joint and another active preamp circuitry (Jackson JE-1500)
